Dr. wants me to go on augmentin amoxicillin

My old PCP put me on amox last summer thinking what i had was an ear infection, but it didn't do anything except screwed up my gut(was not told to take probiotics). Fast forward to my new PCP who is a naturopathic doctor and they saw my sinus ct scan results(chronic sinusitis, deviated septum, bilateral hallel cells, septal spur) and is wanting me to go on amox again w/ probiotics. I'm super skeptical because nothing changed last time I took it.

I've been dealing with chronic sinus/ear issues since May. Not even talking about off and on, I'm talking every day I've had: ear pressure, off balance, sinus pressure. I was originally diagnosed with eustachian tube dysfunction by the ENT nurse practitioner.

Is it possible that some conditions need multiple rounds of antibiotics?
