Confused on first purchase

I've seen ads for Sezane for months and finally pulled the trigger and ordered a couple pieces. The print is gorgeous but the quality is not what I expect when I'm paying £200 for a dress. It's unlined, it doesn't have pockets -- what about this item demands such a high price tag? I am genuinely confused here.
