We have to be selective of everything we consume

After seeing a red-bull ad that was so well made, I recently have been thinking about how most of the things that are available to us in convenience are poisonous.

Food: Most of the food is filled with chemicals. Fast food restaurants in every corner making it convenient to eat unhealthy. Convenience store filled with candy and general harmful drinks that are advertised to us for no food reason. Even the "organic" options available for meats have some level of preservatives. These unhealthy options can not only make retention harder, but also ruin your health.

Internet: The internet can be filled with general toxicity and degeneracy. There is literally only a few spaces on the internet without major drama or degenerative content. Consuming it takes a toll on the mental health and has made us all worse people.

Media: The various existing medias create a narrative and has people focusing on pointless arguments when there are better things to focus our energy on. In the case of social media, there is too much thirst traps and toxic behavior that has become acceptable. Even some music lack meaning and are filled with vulgar ideas.

I can go on but you get my point. So many of the things that are convenient are harming us and it is up to us to go against it by being disciplined to avoid its influence upon us. By avoiding many of the conveniences, we can make retention easier and lead a better life is what I believe. I am not saying to not consume anything, but to be selective as much as we can.
