In pocket detection

Has anyone else noticed the impocket detection is terrible whenever my phone is in my pocket it's always trying to unlock the phone so whenever I pull it out of my pocket and try to open it it says try again in 30 seconds

So my assumption is the phone's trying to unlock itself inside my pocket failing to read my fingerprint and locking me out obviously yes I can use my PIN to unlock the phone but why is the in pocket detection so bad
