Human or shifter FMC Pet

Okay so I’ve read a fair share of books where the MMCs think the FMC is a pet. I didn’t care much for Chasing Katana, the Catalyst book or alien meat market (still unsure of this one)

But I LOVED Susix by Amelia Rademaker and Alien Abduction for Beginners series by Skye MacKinnon.

I’m looking for more like this where for a large chunk of the book or first book the MMCs believe she’s either an animal (if she’s a shifter) or a strange rare pet (if it’s alien) With a huge communication barrier! Love those so much!

I really only enjoy first person POVs (multi first pov is a bonus) and must be RH but if it’s MF only I’ll take it at this point!

Plot is great but honestly I’m chill if there isn’t much plot besides their relationships and realizing she’s a sentient being instead of a pet!

Oh and I prefer if the characters are in their 20s please! Thank you!
