Escape artist?
Does anyone have any insight on how to get my turtle to stop escaping/ want to escape? We have a 75 gallon tank, great filter, heater, lights. She has a huge piece of drift wood in there, plants, minnows. We are in the process of making a better lid to go with the tank better for the lights but until that is done there is an opening where her light sits shining onto her dock. She will not stop attempting to climb out, and I came home to her fully outside the tank sitting on top of the lid today. We've had her in the family for 5+ years but recently got her back into our care and set her up a great tank. We've never had this issue before until she came back to us and we are at a loss of what to do! Help!
(Heat lamp is off due to the bulb going out again, getting a new one tomorrow) It's only been off for a day though and this has been going on a lot longer.
