my friend is getting sentenced today

he’s got some pretty rough charges, but they dropped 4/5 of the bad ones, dropped the coke + bail jumping charge and kept the gun one (had a gun as a felon). really hoping for the best because i miss our adventures we would have when he was out. he got busted 5-6 months ago. but at the same time im conflicted because his charges were pretty serious and everyone dropped him but i stuck around. he’s thinking 3 years, i was thinking more like 5+. but what do i know. i’ll update when i find out!

he got 3.5 years. feeling very conflicted. on one hand, i miss hanging out w him. on the other hand, i don’t think that’s a fair punishment for his charges. honestly im feeling pretty sad and disgusted like when he first got locked up. oh well.
