Baby aspirin and progesterone?

HELP! Had 3 miscarriages in a row last year and last was ectopic! Just found out I am pregnant and an OB told me to take daily baby aspirin and progesterone to prevent another miscarriage!? Anyone taking these? Can they actually cause miscarriages or help!? Maybe I am panicking!!!!
