General anesthesia for LEEP

I’m getting a LEEP procedure done in a couple weeks and was informed that it’ll be under general anesthesia. I’ve never been put under for anything and am a little nervous about what to expect/scared about never waking up lol

I guess it’s not specific to LEEP procedures, but does anyone have any experiences to share or recommendations for preparation/after care? Thank you!!
