Jakks pacific Mario kart replacement parts

Anyone know if the gearboxes from these are the same as another car or something?

Kid broke teeth off of a gear and I cannot figure out where to get parts, manufacturer is being shady. Hoping that the gears are interchangeable or something have no idea where to begin.

Any advice or anything would be appreciated.
