New player looking for steam deck tips, a good slower paced character & crosssave?

Hello as per the title, I am new to the game only been playing about five or six hours total now. I am playing on the steam deck and the performance can be a little bit choppy at times, esp in the overworld and the camera leaves much to be desired. I am wondering if anybody has any tips or setting recommendation? The whole game just feels a little bit clunky.

I also have a somewhat slow left hand due to an accident and hitting 50 this year, so I’m not the quickest dodger. I’ve remapped some of the buttons on the right side of the steam deck because it has these cool buttons in the back. Still, I’ll probably be playing more of a tank character. Besides for the starting three characters in the first dungeon, I found. Senja. I absolutely love the gameplay on her and she hits hard and can take a few hits and her giant weapon style is slower so I don’t have to constantly button mash. Is there a better character out there for slower gameplay or can I stick with Senja? Also, are you encouraged to try out different characters a lot or is it good to stick with one till you clear stuff?

Finally, I also have a PlayStation five and a big ass TV so I would like to play there, but if I buy the game on PlayStation, can I cross save between that and my steam deck? Happy to support the game and buy it again because it seems like it’s really fun . Just wondering if this is possible.

Any other spoiler, free newbie tips or things that people often overlook very much appreciated and thank you in advance
