Is this possible to crack? (Mario Multiverse)

Super fan made Mario Bros also known as Mario Multiverse

its basically a fanmade mario maker game that only allows a handful of users to play it every month or so. There is an offical folder with the game and editor for it that was leaked but using the patcher and updater doesnt let you use the editor or play the game. I feel like playing the base exe would be impossible because its hooked up to a server but i think the editor has a good chance to be cracked in some way. regardless of what you do none of the applications open and all i want to mess around with is the editor. is there any chance or possibility something like this could be cracked?

I've always heard or seen it said to be impossible but the editor doesn't seem like something that'd be too hard to get into.
