Michael Schulson Appreciation Post (NOT)

Today I had an interview at Schulson Collective to be their new Director of Social. So, I got to meet Michael directly. Everything you have heard about him is true and worse. I put together a killer presentation, including everything from; a quick bio about me, some of my best work, a deep dive into his brands what they are doing well, what they can improve on, and new opportunities, as well as 3 free ideas!

Dude was the rudest person I've ever met. He was looking at his phone most of the interview (which he didn't silence, so he got texts during the interview, and we all heard it), at one point he told me to "move it along", mind you my presentation was at most 10 minutes long for a 60-minute interview. He then left the interview early and told his VP to handle it. It was the worst interview I've ever been on, and I've been in marketing/advertising (whoich includes social media agencies) for almost 20 years.

I didn't do enough research on him before the interview, just on the restaurants. I fucked up. He is truly a POS and lives up to all the bad rap he gets in Philly.

-Edit- I didn't get the gig (not due to this post). I was told they were interviewing people all week and would make a decision end of week or early next. Today, got the "we went with someone else" email. Don't buy it, Michael didn't like me from the go, probably because I was not some hot chick (https://www.phillymag.com/foobooz/2017/10/02/michael-schulson-hot-chicks/)
