People that bring kids to opera/classical concerts and when I confronted them, they said I was discriminating

A ticket for opera/ballet/classical isn’t always cheap and I hate to deal with children crying, playing and making noises, even snoring. They are kids! Even adults can be bored and fall asleep at a 3 hours concert, what did those parents think when they bring kids to such places?

When I talked to some of them about it as their kids started talking, all of them have the same response that drove me nuts:

-Just because I have kids doesn’t mean I am denied from going to a concert.

Seriously I was so much annoyed. 😑
