How to Raise Children With a Positive Money Mindset?

Just curious, what are people doing to raise children not to be like a spoiled brat? I grew up with a poverty mindset which has led me to my current financial status. I don't want my kids to think it is so easy to spend money (especially when you visit Costco) without thinking of the other side of effort to earn/generate money.
