Exchanging CAD for USD

I've never really bought USD before, but I'm going to the states soon and figure I'll bring a fair amount of cash as opposed to using credit cards.

There's a place in my city that that is currently selling USD at a rate of $1.35 CAD per US dollar. This pretty much matches the rate I found on Google, so presumably it's a good deal vs the bank or currency exchange places?

The only downside is they're all US one dollar bills, and I need to buy them in increments of $100.
