Sharing my story for hope
I’ll keep it pretty short. I’ve posted before about being diagnosed about three and a half years ago. I was scared, like a lot of people. Didn’t know much about it and was completely caught off guard as I have always had good dental hygiene and made regular trips to the dentist all my life. Missed a few appts during Covid and that was that.
Anyway, just had a check up and cleaning on Wednesday. X-rays were done. Long story short. No bleeding, no inflammation, all pockets at 3 or below, no additional bone loss. Hygienist said she wasn’t even finding any tartar or plaque. Worst I had were some stains here and there but even those were less since I stopped drinking tea. So everything is stable.
My routine, for those who are curious, is:
Morning: Interdental brushes, waterpik flosser. Rinse with CloSys. Brush with oral b brush and sensodyne. Rinse with Listerine.
Interdental pick during the day after lunch or snack.
Night: same as morning but I use string floss after the interdental pick and I use Act rinse after the Listerine.
Good luck everyone!
