Thoughts on your 5-6 year old playing video games?

My daughter has recently started getting into playing video games. My husband is a big gamer. I try to limit it once a day for a 30 mins of computer time. Her favorite game to play is Fortnite. My husband is wanting to get her an Xbox for her birthday but I am on the fence about it. I think she’s too young for a really big gift like that. I suggested a WII sports game instead so the whole family can play together. So I’m just wanting thoughts on if I’m being too unreasonable about my child playing video games?
