What’s everyone’s policy on makeup expiration dates???

My monthly empties: Cerave makeup removing cleansing balm- i used up every drop of this! likely will not repurchase because i recently sampled the Farmacy and fell head over heels in love. but if anyone has any recs similar to the Farmacy but cheaper, I’d love to save some $$!!

Colourpop pretty fresh tinted moisturizer- ive been using this slowlyyyy for about 3 years. it stopped pumping so i cut it open about 2 weeks ago, but i think it’s time to say goodbye. i’ve been hate panning this but it’s not exactly the right shade (pulls orange!!) and doesn’t do my dry skin any favors :,)

L’oréal voluminous mascara (not pictured) - also not a complete pan. I’ve been working through this but ALWAYS choose my maybelline lash sensational over it so the process has been slow. Plus, it’s obviously expired by now, which i try to keep an eye on when it comes to mascara (i’m more lax with other products…)

I’m really curious how people in this community deal with expired products!! I personally feel like complexion products and mascaras should probably be thrown away even if not finished on the sooner side, but powders are okay. Hence my making the choice to get rid of two products here that weren’t fully panned… If people wouldn’t mind sharing their thoughts in the comments I’d love some more information on this 😌🙌🩷
