I didn't realise Pack Points reset!

As a free to play player, I don't get a lot of time to play the game, I do as many challenges and missions as I can, I was saving pack points to try and get the Charizard Ex, since it is my favourite Pokémon. I've logged on today to realise that all of my points have gone. I didn't realise that with new packs, they reset!
