Do Under Review Date Updates Mean Anything?

Went under review 1/23 for IU Maurer. Date changed to today, 1/31.

I've heard of people being under review for months so I'm telling myself this doesn't really mean anything.

Anyone knows otherwise? Is there an actual human updating the tracker or is it automated by an admissions staff simply clicking on it?
