Hide POI category?

Is it possible to hide a specific category of POIs? It seems that every single emergency access point in the Navarre region in Spain is mapped, which is good, but that also means that from zoom level 16 up, my map is cluttered with these (see screenshots: Pamplona, Murchante, and Tudela).

In my searches, I only found options to hide all POIs, which is not what I want. Is there any way to do this, or would I have to create a feature request for this?
