Obscure coding languages

Will we ever see an AI model that performs well on obscure (but fully documented) coding languages?

I’m a mechanical engineer that does a lot of FEA. APDL is the language for one of the main FEA programs out there but I have yet to see a model that writes code that actually runs or even does what was requested if I read their attempted code like a pseudo code.

Just tried with o3-mini hoping for the best but same result. This is all while software engineers are hailing its top-tier coding capabilities on i assume far more popular languages. People like me writing obscure code may be one of the last professionals helped by LLM’s!
