Season 2 had the best idea for the whodunit's identity
I don't get the hate for Season 2 here. The idea that the murderer was the dead girl from All Is Not OK in Oklahoma, someone mentioned in the very first episode of Season 1 even, who was actually never dead, is the best idea for a final murderer this show has ever had. And that she faked her own death in order to make a murder podcast was even more brilliant. I liked this idea even more than Jan.
Season 3 and 4's biggest fault is that the murderer is just one of the new supporting characters. This seems like a massive downgrade that makes these seasons feel like a bog-standard crime procedural.
