Best helmet mounted IR illuminator options, in Canada

Being outside the USA, getting Gen 3s is pretty much just a dream. Recently bought my second PVS-14, Photonis Echo+ (2206 FOM, 32.92 SNR), upgrading from my first device, a Photonis Echo (1926 FOM, 26.72 SNR). My next purchase will be either binos or upgrading to an high gain Photonis 4G. All that to say I need a proper IR illuminator when walking in low light environments. I'll use my nods for hiking and stargazing about 75% of the time, shooting will be a small portion of the use I'll get out of them, so I want something I can mount to my helmet and kinda forget about. Modlite is an option, being in Canada, but from what I can see they are a bit over the top and will autogate tubes. I was planning to purchase the S&S M-Ax mount with a surefire KM-1E head, although I'm getting a team wendy LTP with 3.0 rails... and I need a 3.0 mount which seems unavailable in Canada! I'm kinda dry, any suggestions?
