Advice needed

What would you do if Nanny had their spouse “call in” or be the one to text you to say they’re not feeling well and wanted to use a sick day today? Would you mention/ask about it or just let it be?

If I ever tried to do that at my job, my boss would definitely question why I wasn’t the one who reached out. Of course it depends on the situation, if I was in the hospital and couldn’t speak, then we wouldn’t have a choice but have someone else notify my employer. It’s not that bad though, they’re just not feeling well. They could’ve just as easily sent the text from her phone to me and I wouldn’t have even known it wasn’t her reaching out. I find it a bit odd that she couldn’t tell me this directly. They don’t call in often but most other times they did, it’s been the spouse telling me and not my employee directly. Trying to figure out if I’m overthinking, as usual, or to just let it be. Do I say something to help her prevent doing this with future employers or just let it go? Is it not a big deal and I’m just overthinking?
