World Series Sadness
Still recovering from World Series heartbreak. I was at game 5. I flew from Texas and meet one of my best friends to see the Yankees play in the World Series. A life long dream, bucket list for me. A surreal experience and I have to say, worth every penny. Even if I knew the result I would do it again a hundred times over.
I’m furious with the ultimate outcome. I’ve found solace in recognizing all the good stuff the team did this year and the great postseason run we had. Competing in the WS is a huge accomplishment and something to be proud of. The only thing that can mend that heart wrenching game 5 loss is gonna be when we win it all. Hopefully soon.
People ask me why I love sports. I will say from here forward that being in the right field bleachers and watching that Aaron Judge home run land 30 feet from never made me feel more alive.
Just want to say that Yankees fans are the greatest fans in the world and I’m proud to be one. Hope we can climb that mountain this year and come out on top as champs.
