Buying NFA items while TAD?

So background is, PCSing and have a few TAD stops along the way before checking into my ultimate activity. The thing is, all the places I would be TAD for school (3-4 mo) are in the same state as my final duty station. I haven’t had this happen before so I was curious. I was wanting to try and pick up a few cans and hosts once I got over there (NH).

If not I suppose that just gives me more time to save and possibly grab a few more cans all at once.

Additional info, South Dakota is my residency and do not plan on changing over to New Hampshire. Last time I bought suppressors in VA I had a Virginia license, so that’s new.
