What are some Visual/Designs that don’t make much sense in lore?

I think Everyone and the devs themselves collectively just forgot that Quan-Chi’s Tattoos are actually Onaga Ritual glyphs that he put on his skin, then it just became part of his character to have it now cuz it looks cool ig.

it just it doesn’t make sense lore wise, it looks cool yeah but why would he have the tattoos already in MK9? It doesn’t matter that much but its missed visual storytelling. Atleast MK1 has the excuse of having Onaga in the game and even then lore was changed enough that he isn’t sealed.

Another is Onaga, he’s supposed to be fused with Reptile is why he has the green skin and reptile like appearance, but that got forgotten in MK1 too.
