Please tell me someone else remembers this book 🙏🏽

The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle is a wild story about this bratty, upper-class 13-year-old girl who gets shipped off to America from England on a ship without her family. She's the only "passenger;" something had happened to the family who was supposed to be traveling with her, and they never made it aboard. She initially wants to spend all her time with the (also high-class) Captain Jaggery, because they seemingly have a ton in common, plus the crew is bottom-of-the-barrel-type guys who were loud, crass, and stinky anyway.

She actually ends up becoming closer to the dirty, lower-class crew members, and there's a huge twist and an even bigger character arc for Miss Doyle. It's a fantastic story that still to this day makes me feel a million things. 10/10 recommend going back for an easy read.

I think (in America) we had to read this in the sixth grade? (That's like 10-11 years old for those who don't know and are curious)
