Can I Change My Residency Back?

So, I got a Colorado license because of the timing of when I purchased my car and other factors (along with not understanding at the time that California has no state income tax when you are stationed outside of California). Could I change my residency back to California now that I live in Colorado and have a Colorado license? Or am I just going to have to be sad about paying more taxes haha.
