Check-in puzzle piece not working [BRAZIL]

I was at 11/12 puzzle pieces and reached day 7 of my check-in streak, but as I redeem it, I only got 50 points but the puzzle piece did nothing, as the puzzle continued with the same amount of puzzle pieces. Is this a famous bug or am I just unlucky?
