low compression in one cylinder, how long before failure?

2015 yaris L. Car compression spec is 150 psi for all 4 cylinders. Only cylinder 4 is low by 25 psi (125psi), shop says cylinder edge/top and cylinder wall has a little damage/scoring. I know the repair would be replace the engine with used, reman, new. But the car is driving perfectly, no power loss, no nothing!

First question: if i drive the car until the cylinder pops will it damage anything besides the engine?

Second question: with this kind of issue, is there any estimate anyone can give me of how long the car will run before the cylinder fails?
