How did the Marvel Cinematic Universe lose its quality?
I’ve always wondered what happened to the MCU’s quality after Avengers: Endgame. Almost every movie either sucked or was mid with a few exceptions, with Spider-Man: No Way Home, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Deadpool and Wolverine, and Loki season 1 and 2 being really good in my opinion. Almost every other movie was okay or just straight up sucked.
WandaVision was interesting in the beginning but I just thought the ending was fumbled.
Falcon and Winter Soldier was good and John Walker was the most memorable character from that show but I hated Sam’s speech he gave to the senator at the end.
Black Widow was forgettable.
Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was okay in my opinion, honestly nothing really noteworthy but wasn’t terrible.
Eternals was so boring I basically stopped about 25% into the movie.
Hawkeye was fine it wasn’t bad, I liked Kate Bishop and Yelena’s banter in the show, wouldn’t be in my top favorites though.
Moon Knight wasn’t too bad, but wouldn’t be part of my top favorites.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was just forgettable in my opinion, nothing amazing happened and in fact I even forget this movie exists sometimes.
Ms. Marvel reminded me of a Disney Channel show for some reason.
Thor: Love and Thunder sucked, I hated the kid army Thor used against Gorr near the end. I also hated the horrible cgi and the cringy lines like Jane Foster using the “eat my hammer” catchphrase more than once.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was pretty cringe to watch, like the infamous Megan Thee Stallion twerking scene that everybody knows, and the ending was just confusing from a lore standpoint.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was fine. I thought some choices in the movie were kind of stupid such as Wakanda fighting the Talokanil in the ocean at the end of the movie (basically their home turf) in which they have the advantage. I also thought Riri Williams was the worst character in that movie.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was another horrible movie, I hated the way Cassie acted in this movie, I hated pretty much all the jokes in this movie, I hated Modok, Kang was was pretty dumb too in this one (he was fine in Loki season 2) but this version of Kang in Quantumania was just dumb.
Secret Invasion I didn’t even bother watching since I saw the reviews and they were just abysmal (which I doubt matters because Nick Fury was in The Marvels anyways).
The Marvels was honestly another movie that was pretty boring that I straight up fell asleep halfway through the movie.
What-If’s first season was good which I actually liked but the second was okay and the third season was just ridiculous.
I don’t want to see Captain America: Brave New World after how the Falcon and Winter Soldier turned out and I’m not excited for Fantastic Four: First Steps in my opinion as nothing in the trailer really caught my attention.
What happened to Marvel Studios? I watched every movie in the Infinity Saga and used to be excited whenever the next movie was about to come out, now whenever I see a new Marvel movie, I’m like “Oh… that doesn’t look good” or “That looks horrible.”
