Sam Wilson: Captain America #5 - #6 (2015)

His first appearance is two issues earlier but this is true introduction. It sums up his origins well and it’s his first team up with Sam as they take on Serpent Solutions (a.k.a. the Serpent Society).

Sam Wilson: Captain America #17 (2015)

Probably the closest thing we’ve ever gotten to a Joaquin Torres solo comic. The villains are pretty weak but it showcases a lot of his personality and what he stands for.

Captain America: Symbol of Truth #1 (2022)

Just a really awesome team up with Sam and very reminiscent of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier TV show.

Captain America: Symbol of Truth #4 (2022)

Has to go solo again after being captured but we get to see more of his back story and family.
