Does MGK have serious competition?

With MS getting so big, it would make sense that others would try to copy, or at least chase his success. Besides Tiktok though, the only real competition I see is from this band "August is Falling", like I found in this blog I have linked. One of the comments says that they started in the 90's, but their Youtube channel was literally created 3 days ago, and they already have upwards of 56k views.

Do you think that AIF has a chance of rivaling MGK,? Or are there any other artists or bands in this scene that are more likely to rival him? I would love to hear everyone's thoughts!
