CPU debug light on

Hey guys I’ve got an B550 Tomahawk WIFI MAX board and it’s a bit older so i need to update the bios on it in order to use my Ryzen 7 5800X, but one thing I’m worried about is the CPU isn’t being detected by the motherboard bc the debug light keeps coming up. Is this because I haven’t updated the bios yet?
