Random wood

I found a random chunky plank of sinister wood, tried to click it to see if it was claimed, and no name appeared. Asked if it was anyone's and no response., and tried to push it to my base and into a sawmill to claim it since it didn't have a name when i hovered, but after going through my sawmill it remained unchanged. Was this a ghost or something?
