Received my new laptop with outer box cut open suspiciously

Hi!

I just received my new Lenovo Thinkpad P1 Gen 7 which was delivered by UPS. The driver left it at my door and ring my bell. This was the first red flag as I should have signed it upon delivery. When I opened the door, I found out the outer box of the laptop had a rectangular shape precisely cut on the side. Exactly where all your system information is located like:

Laptop serial number MTM information UUID MAPT MAC WLAM MAC Microsoft product key ID

I sent Lenovo and email about how something is possible? Normally when customs want to inspect something, they open the outer box seal and then seal it back with tape. I have ordered quite some laptops from Lenovo, Dell and others in my lifetime, but have never seen someone cutting a rectangular shaped "window" into an outer box.

The inner box looks like it's still ok, but haven't opened it yet.

Should I return this device and demand a replacement or is it ok? What are the risks of having all the information above (+ my name, company name and address) out in the open?

Thank you.
