1L is just legal hazing. change my mind.

1L year is literally hazing with extra steps:

• you’re sleep-deprived.
• you’re forced to memorize useless facts (does anyone care about Pennoyer v. Neff)
• you’re humiliated in front of your peers during cold calls.
• let’s not forget the endless mental breakdowns over IRAC and “thinking like a lawyer.”

The only difference is, at least hazing ends after a semester. 1L is a year-long initiation into a lifetime of caffeine addiction and existential dread.
