David Icke was being actually kind of rational and I hate it
So today I open up Knowledge Fight and the one I watch is one about David Icke and the mutual hate he and Jones have for each other while the two are on Jones' radio show together
Except for suggesting that we're all living inside a simulation, Icke was surprisingly insightful about the whole affair and offered a lot of good points, including, but not limited to:
Elon Musk's companies are all related to fields the supposed New World Order could use for social control (brain chips, self-driving cars, wireless networks, control of an important social network) and have terrifying societal implications- and the rightoids only like him because of his politics
Media with an explicit political agenda either serves as an opiate for the masses or a stimulant for the crazies
The entire rightosphere (Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, FOX News, Newsmax, OAN) has essentially reached the status of mainstream media amongst the right-wing (he calls them "MAM," for "mainstream alternative media," a great moniker if there ever was one
Icke is a master manipulator, and he's just doing this to drive people away from the other conspiracy theorists, but goddam if he doesn't make sense
