It’s not Tony’s fault

We all know Tony is one of the edgiest comedians who always pushes the envelope. His set at the rally was nothing out of the ordinary for anyone who’s familiar with his work.

The problem that everyone should be worked up about is the optics of all of it. Who signed off on getting him to represent Trump and push all the preconceived notions that people already have about MAGA?

I’m not clutching my pearls here and saying it offended me. I’m just saying it was a horrible look on MAGA, embarrassing for right-wing voters who want to separate themselves from Republican stereotypes, and deeply polarizing to the people who can’t take a joke (and are now even further turned off by Trump’s side of politics). He was the wrong choice for this rally.
