Huawei Freebuds SE 2 or SE 3?

Update: Ended up getting the SE 2 for now. No particular reason, just decided to go with something that's tried and tested.

A bit of a mini review here: It's only been a day, but they've been absolutely lovely. The pairing was fast and smooth with both my Pixel and MacBook. Sound is comparable to my wired Apple earbuds (mic quality is not as good though). Size is pretty darn similar to that too, pretty comfortable.

Got the AI Life app to customise gestures. Surprisingly, I manage to use it without signing up or giving up any data at all. Just install, set up the earbuds, and I'm done. But unfortunately, the customisation is pretty limited. Just some options to choose between pause, go to previous/next track, pick up/end calls, etc. I know it doesn't have a slider like the other buds, but it'd have been nice to have an option to adjust volume.

Still, they're an amazing pair of earbuds for the price.

Looking to get either of those. Currently with a discount on SE 3, they are more or less the same price.

My priority is comfort (small ears), so anyone know how they compare in size and shape? The specs are exactly the same, so I'm guess they might be too?

Curious about the bass too. I've read good reviews on SE 2, but there's so little information on SE 3. Appreciate any help, thank you!
