Recommended Tool?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a tool to cut off the excess screw length on these cabinet knobs? The guy at JC Licht recommend a mini hack saw, but it’s been very slow going. My initial thought had been something like tin-snips, but I want to avoid deforming the screw if possible so that removing these in the future isn’t too much hassle.
