Which Govee light could help with this odd setup?
My goal is to light up both of these sections in a display above the fireplace. What makes it tricky is that there is an outlet on the bottom section (behind the white head), and no outlet in the top section. I had to drill a small hole to the top.
I tried the 15” light bars laid down horizontally. I loved the light output (can’t find what the lumen is), but they looked pretty tacky from far away because you can distinctly see the light bar on both the top and bottom sections. I tried to hide them vertically behind the heads, but 15” was too large. The other issue is that the bars are connected to one cable, and cannot be disconnected from one another, so I had to run a cable outside of the wood which looked tacky.
I considered the 10” light bars, which might work vertically behind the heads, but the issue of having to run the cable in front of the wood is still a problem, since I’m assuming they’re connected the same way.
I considered the Govee lamp, but the price is kind of a turn off. Also, it’s too big to fit behind the gray head at the top. So it needs to be lower profile.
I even considered getting a lamp socket adapter and trying a regular Govee light bulb, but that might not fit either.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work?
