Budget setup "complete"

I have been getting a lot of questions in the DM on my budget build. I THINK I am done so I thought I would list them out here and show the finished product.

*Floor mats under net are the garage runners from Costco. They were $24.99 each and they do a decent job deadening the blow. Would be better with yoga or puzzle mats underneath. Will probably do that next.

*Net is the Haeokleball 10X7 golf net that I got found on sale at Wayfair. Its gone up a little since I bought it. Its at Amazon right now for $209

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2HLY9DQ

*Impact screen is 9X7 GoSports! Impact screen. $99 on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B8MBDNBN

*Projector is a Facebook Marketplace special. It is a Yaber Y31 and works fine. Quality is meh but it does the job. I ended up getting this for $40 and stream to a Chromecast from the laptop.

*Hitting mat is the GolfGuru 5X4 31mm Pro hitting mat. I’m really liking this because it is plenty thick and has decent give. The turf shows no sign of wear yet and is holding up well. I know its not a CCE or a Fiberbuilt but it works great for this use case. $119 with coupon on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQ6L1F1V

*Laptop and monitor I already had but the laptop and monitor “cart” is pretty cool. I just wheel it out of the way after playing. $47 and 10% coupon on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CT7P4FC

*Cover over LM is a clear, thick food container from Target. $6.99

https://www.target.com/p/5-8c-tall-square-plastic-food-storage-container-brightroom/-/A-52380382

*Added the spotlight. Helps line up the hitting zone better and I feel it helps the ball reads better as well. $23.99 on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DVYXN86

*Shank nets came in a pair and they work really well and are same quality as the hitting net. Only using one side for now. $43.59 on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CF4GSFR7

*I added 2X2 puzzle mats to the ceiling (obvious reasons) and a 7X7 net for now. Also doubled up those mats in front of the hitting mat and added some putting turf from a cheap putting game that I had. This works great for sim putting and very happy with it. The mats up top are a little on the thin side, but they were cheap. Doubled up they end up being about .75 inches. Pack of 4 2X2 mats $9.99 at Northern Tool

*And the best part: The Square Launch Monitor. I looked at the Square, the Garmin R10, the Rapsodo MLM2, The Bushnell BLP and the Mevo+. I didn’t think the radar ones would work for me with my space and the garage insulation. I was considering the BLP with the discounts available, but didn’t want to pay the subscription fees every year. Ended up choosing the Square due to my space, the size of the device, the “credits” model, the free connector to GSPro if I decide to go that route and the software and courses included. So far, I have been extremely happy with the Square experience. I am using TP5 PIX balls and the readings seem to be dead on. The only misreads that I have had were from a buddy wearing white shoes with reflective material on them and mat shift. Mat shift has been solved by using rug pads underneath on the corners and sides. $664 with GSVSQUARE discount code

So far, I am extremely happy with this setup. It only takes about 5 minutes to take off the leg extensions, roll up the screen and store it away in the corner of the garage. Garage runner mats stay down but the hitting mat gets put to the side since we still have to park inside.
