Mk5 GTI Low Speed Knocking

My 2009 GTI has started making a knocking sound when turning at low speeds.

I can also feel the knocking in the steering well, as well as in the brake pedal.

Anyone know what it is, and/or a fix?

Through some research I read that it may be a steering rack.

Just want to see if there’s any other ideas out there before I freak out lol
