Our 14.5 week old puppy randomly stopped wanting to sleep with us
3 nights ago our mini, Asher, just stopped wanting to sleep with us. He would not accept the kennel no matter how much we tried to train and make him comfortable. So he’s slept on the bed with us. Never has had an accident and always was laying next to me or my GF throughout the night sleeping 7 or 8 hours.
Now he will only sleep out in the living room. My gf has been sleeping out there with him the last couple of nights and she said he immediately goes to sleep out there even sleeping on the couch with her. He’s been eating all his meals, drinking water, and playing like normal.
Has anyone else encountered this and how did they deal with it? Obviously my gf can’t sleep on the couch forever. We have gates to our other rooms so he’s mainly confined to the living room. He doesn’t actively seek out things to chew other than toys. If we leave him on the floor in the bedroom he just paces around the room sniffing things and never lays down or gets comfortable. He has a blanket he sleeps on out in the living room and we have brought this into the bedroom and he doesn’t lay down on it. We believe he is teething really bad as well. We have gotten him a lot of harder chew toys and today he was constantly chewing on one of them.
So if anyone has any advise please let us know. Thank you!
