Is everybody educated about this Supreme Court Case from 2010?

I graduated HS in 2010, but I remember my AP Government teacher cancelling lessons the day of the decision because she wanted to put her head down and cry that morning. She apologized to us for “having spent the year teaching us about an America that now no longer exists”.

I think she was incredibly correct to feel that way. Things were “broken” even before that decision, but I encourage everyone to educate themselves on this decision if they haven’t already. I don’t have a point to make or anything, I just never hear anyone bring this up so I wanted to shed some light on it.
