Lenovo Loq 15 opinion

A month ago I asked this community if it was worth buying the Lenovo Loq 15.I made the purchase on July 28, 2023 and since I tested it for almost a month, I will leave you some opinions in case anyone is interested in buying it .

The specs are : i5-13500H up to 4.7 GHz, 15.6", Full HD, 144Hz, 16GB, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6

Pros:

1)Laptop is full of plastic but it feels great,not the best but it s ok (it s a budget laptop so..)

2) Cooling system is great , i play a lot of games and and I couldn't make him jump 80°. I played Sons of The forest Ultra settings and the max temperature was 78°. Gta 5 all on very high 65°, Cs:Go very high 60°.So i think the temperatures are pretty good( I have a friend with Gigabyte + external cooling system and have way higher temperatures than me , and he has a more weaker GPU).

for the money it's asking for, I think it's the perfect laptop in this budget, taking into account that it can play any game 1080p ultra +60fps ,but it has some disadvantages

Cons:

1) weak speakers. Very bad quality ,no bass , not enough clarity , only load.I have an 350$ old laptop and sounds better than this lenovo.

2) The microphone is not very good , a lot of people told me

3) hard to install windows , touchpad doesn t work at the beginning ( missing driver) , wifi the same ( you should have a cable).

4) Batery is weak , if you don t put the laptop on save battery , you get less than 2hours.

Hope this mini review helps on deciding if this laptop is worth or not.

I've never overclocked it (probably there should be higher temperatures), I play games occasionally and it's the perfect laptop for that kind of thing ,I set some games to a maximum of 60fps, which results in a very low temperature of 65° even in extremely demanding games, or even 45° in cs go .

It is clear that the laptop works perfectly even without an external cooling system. Taking into account the big complaints from Asus and Gigabyte about overheating .( Laptop Gigabyte with rtx 3050 + external cooling system gets up to 95° on Sons of the forest, while lenovo stays at 78° without external cooling)

that's right, I heard that the rtx 4000 series is not much above 3000, but they have improved the temperatures .
